Review: Where do I begin… It took us a long while to make a decision on our Wedding flowers.
We toyed with doing them ourselves, getting them professionally arranged, then maybe not even having any…
Until we found, Amanda.
I had a clear vision of what I wanted the flowers to be like at our wedding, so when we drove to meet Amanda way back in 2019, on a VERY wet and windy day!!, we all ran for cover into her lovely little Summer House. We were straight away very impressed when she managed to bring us lovely hot cups of tea through gale force winds without spilling a drop!! Haha. But Amanda’s kind nature, welcoming warmth and most importantly her sheer passion and excitement exuding from every direction; well, we just knew she was the florist for us.
We had to postpone our wedding due to Covid, but Amanda’s support didn’t faulter. All whilst navigating herself through a very troublesome time for the wedding industry, changing the date was a breeze and we felt safe in her hands.
Nothing was ever too much, and to say I was speechless when I was shown my bouquet on the day of the wedding would be an understatement.
My vision had truly come to life throughout the venue, from the wildflower meadow down the aisle, the beautiful bouquets and button holes, the special request for our two Grandads who are no longer with us, the branch hanging above the top table with little flowers dangling delicately, the wildflower centre pieces looked as though they were growing out of the tables, the just picked look.
It was all perfect. There is just no other way to describe it.
Amanda, thank you. From the bottom of our hearts. You truly made our day magical, both by creating such wonderful flowers for us, but also by being the wonderful woman that you are.
